March 2019 – October 2020
AS Watson own companies like Superdrug and Savers here in the UK and their equivalent around the world. I work with Marrionnaud in Italy for the most part, making web banners, emails and webpages, but also worked with Superdrug, Savers and Watsons. I also did webpages for our top suppliers such as Lacoste and Valentino. I once did the wall artwork for one of our offices in Milan, which was a fun side project!
August 2018 – March 2019
JCDecaux Group is a multinational corporation known for its bus-stop advertising systems, billboards, and street furniture. It is the largest outdoor advertising corporation in the world and I was working in their marketing department in a team of three designers. We made photo-realistic mock-ups of what campaigns could look like across various street furniture. That was mainly all done in photoshop and presented in custom PowerPoint templates that we made for each pitch.
September 2017 – August 2018
RED is a global recruitment agency for permanent and contract SAP professionals. I work there for a year doing maternity cover in the marketing department as a sole Graphic Designer. It was an incredibly fun and energetic environment to work in, where anything and everything got thrown at me on a daily basis. Merchandise, tickets, presentations, brochures, events stands…I learnt so much there from a lot of very talented people.
July 2015 – June 2017
I spent a few years travelling! The first 8 months was backpacking through Europe, which was amazing and then I did a teaching course in Barcelona and got my first gig in Japan. I stayed there for a year teaching English before I came back home.
May 2011 – April 2015
Aviation Media is a publishing and events agency that focusses on aviation. I worked in a team of five to make sure all the event websites were up to date and materials were correct and shipped to the events on time. I also worked on 2 of their magazines alongside the editors to design the layouts and get it to the printers in a timely fashion.
July 2009 – July 2011
My first job out of university supporting the Marketing Manager to deliver campaigns throughout the year. I would coordinate all the materials and hand pack the mailings! It was here that I discovered when taking the invoices to accounts that you could get paid quite well to make things look nice! I asked my manager at the time for a course in InDesign and the rest is history!
