The advancing globalization and digitalization offer great opportunities to open up new markets. However, thinking globally does not mean applying the same strategy in every market. My key expertise is to position international companies on the German market creating, localizing and leveraging content such as press releases, guest articles and statements, Social Media Posts and blogs.
I have been working in public relations with a focus on the technology field for over 12 years. Initially, I spent seven years working with international PR agencies such as Hotwire PR and LEWIS Communications where I got the opportunity to build up and later on lead the Frankfurt office.
During my time in PR agencies, I gained great experience supporting large well-known brands, as well as start-ups, in their PR activities.
In 2013, I started as PR Manager at the American company Concur (bought by SAP in 2014) where I was responsible for all PR activities in the German-speaking region. My focus while at SAP Concur was in building up the brand and promoting their Travel & Expense solution through creating press coverage in Germany.
At OTRS Group, I held a global PR position which allowed me to promote the company and its solution not only in Germany but also in the US, Hungary, Brazil, Singapore and Mexico. This way, I gained a broad understanding about how media works in different regions.
One of my focuses besides public relations turned out to be CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiating multiple project and events to support charities and raise corporate social engagement among employees.
I studied German linguistics, psychology and politics at the Humboldt University in Berlin.
